Our Story
Established and incorporated in 1974, RGH is a community-based non-profit social service agency. We serve abused, neglected, and homeless youth and their families from throughout the state of Maine with an emphasis on the tri-county region of Oxford, Androscoggin, and Franklin Counties. Founded by locals with a sincere interest in the welfare of children at risk, RGH has continued to grow and respond to the changing needs of the State of Maine and our local community.
Our Mission
Our mission is to develop and administer programs to enhance the safety and quality of life for children, youth, and families through a quality, comprehensive continuum of care in social services, education, corrections, mental health, and housing.

You Can Help
You can make a difference in your community, too.
We’re looking for people who want to help their neighbors and be part of something bigger than themselves. Our residents have successfully faced many challenges, but they still need support.
They need you to give them hope and show them that there is always a light at the end of the tunnel.
Together, we can change lives and create brighter futures.
