SENIOR MANAGEMENT CLINICIAN

Rumford Group Homes, Inc., a nationally accredited social service provider of residential and community services to children, youth and families located in the beautiful Western Mountains of Maine, is looking to hire a motivated individual, full time, to fill the senior management position of Clinician at our Greenleaf House Program. Our eight-bed residential treatment program serving boys ages 13-18 is located in Rumford, Maine.  The right individual will provide clinical support to the youth and their families as well as provide clinical oversight of this mental health licensed program.  It is also expected that this person will be an integral member of the management team.  This is an opportunity to make a positive impact in the life of a child at risk and their families.  Educational and experience requirements: Masters level Clinical Degree (LCPC, LMSW, LCPCc, LMSWc, LCSW).

CASE MANAGERS - Turner & Rumford, ME

Rumford Group Homes, Inc., a provider of residential and community services to children, youth and families, has an immediate opening for a Case Manager.  This individual will be responsible for the day-to-day leadership of the staff and development of treatment plans for a four-bed crisis stabilization program for children ages five-18  located in Turner, Maine  and a residential mental health licensed program for males ages 13-18 in Rumford, Maine.

            Responsibilities include:

  • Screen referrals for participation in the program and take the lead in deciding whether to accept or deny a referral;
  • Develop and implement resident’s service plans;
  • Recruit, supervise, support, train, and provide clinical assistance to youth workers;
  • Adhere to and enforce the Agency personnel policies and procedures.

Educational and experience requirements:

Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field with experience; or BA degree in Social Work, Psychology, Social Services with three (3) years experience; or Associate’s Degree in Social Services and five (5) years experience or; High School Diploma/ Equivalence and ten (10) years experience.

HOMELESS YOUTH OUTREACH COORDINATOR/ CASE MANAGER

Rumford Group Homes, Inc. seeks a caseworker to provide individual and family outreach, counseling, and case management services to children, youth, and young adults who are homeless, runaway, at risk of becoming homeless, and/or have a serious emotional disturbance (SED).  Work will include establishing supportive relationships with homeless youth, providing interventions, referrals, and follow-up.  Extensive travel throughout Oxford County and the Bridgton area is required.

            Educational and experience requirements include: 

  • MHRT-C Certification; and
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four (4) year institution of higher learning with a specialization in psychology, mental health and human services, behavioral health, behavioral sciences, social work, child development, special education, counseling, rehabilitation, sociology, nursing or closely related field; or
  • A graduate of an accredited graduate school with a Master’s degree in social work, education, psychology, counseling, or closely related field;  or
  • A Registered Nurse with at least two years of full time equivalent psychiatric experience with children or adolescents; or
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four (4) year institution of higher learning in an unrelated field and at least one (1) year of full time equivalent relevant human services experience.

 
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to exhibit a sincere, compassionate, and non-judgmental stance for youth and families in need a must; and a current Maine driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
